Following the hectic summer of football, the 2006 McCarthy Industries BBQ reverted back to its original month of July. Building upon last years success, McCarthy kept the tried and tested formula of pass the parcel and a dance competition. However, this year things were spiced up with more guests, over 300 alcoholic containments, more food, and most importantly of all - the debut of Tom McCarthys love child, his brand new BBQ. A scorching hot day in Burgess Hill meant that this years event had all the ingredients needed to become another night that would go down in Burgess Hill folklore
