With England
putting up such a poor showing in the World Cup, it was decided to
dedicate the Seventh Annual McCarthy Industries BBQ to one of the
most underrated England managers of all time - Steve McClaren. A 25+
capacity crowd flocked to the McCarthy Towers garden armed with
Steve t-shirts, umbrellas and extremely suspect Dutch accents for an
afternoon involving a plethora of new features - Jones'
revamped entrance shot system from the newly constructed Rhonda
Valley Bar, the hot sauce challenge, darts competitions, think while
you drink games, the second annual boat race and of course the
traditional pass-the-parcel. With God blessing Burgess Hill with a
dry afternoon following last years watery farce, the stage was set
for another memorable drinking session for the annuls of McCarthy
Industries
