| Most
people would spend Valentines Day on a romantic
evening with their boyfriend, but not the hardy
souls at Crocs on Tour. Valentines Day meant a
trip to see not only the legendary Delia Smith,
where we would hope to be 'having her', but also
the famous Alan Partridge, where we would hope
to have the ball in the 'back of the net', as
the hapless Seagulls took on the celebrity cooks

of Transport: |
Neil
Kane was behind the wheel of the Kane Mobile, as
we made our way through the eastern countryside
to Norwich
|
| Team: |
A
4-4-2 line up of: Henderson, El Abd, Butters,
McShane, Lynch; Hinshlewood, Hammond, Carpenter,
Frutos; Hart, Gatting
|
| Kit: |
Norwich
wore their traditional home colours of yellow
jerseys with green trim, green shorts and yellow
stockings. Brighton went for their second choice
kit of all maroon, while Wayne Henderson chose
the green goalkeepers jersey with black and
white trim, black shorts and black stockings

McGhee's Attire: |
Mr
McGhee wore his traditional suit, complete with
a white Errea training jacket

| Weather: |
A
fresh but clear night in East Anglia
|
| Stadium
Rating: |
Carrow
Road is a nice mixture of old and new, with
large, two tiered stands behind each goal and an
intimate, one tier affair along the touchline.
It offers good facilities as well, and seeing
bright yellow seats was also rather arousing.

| Food
Rating: |
The
hotdogs were cheap in comparison to food prices
around this division at £2.40, and were rather
tasteful, so much so that McCarthy purchased 2.
7/10
|
| Entertainment: |
None
on other, except for a man who was wearing what
was believed to be a canary suit walking around
the pitch. A poor effort, especially given the
high standards set by Coventry City. 2/10
|
| Friendliness
of Locals: |
Extremely
friendly. Firstly, one local farmer directed us
towards a car park we could use, and then the
programme sellers sent us in the direction of a
local pub. When we were unable to find it, we
followed some locals, whom were particularly
pleasant as they explained their unhappiness
with City boss Nigel Worthington. 9/10
|
| Standard
of Local Females: |
Lots
on offer, ranging from the attractive women in
the ticket office to those females in the pub.
7/10
|
| Steward
Rating: |
We
had no real dealings with the stewards, although
from a few complaints around us they were rather
poor. 4/10
|
| Flag
Attention: |
The
flag was taken into the ground, but
unfortunately was not displayed to full effect
as Potter managed to make a complete pigs ear of
displaying it
|
| Match
Report: |
It
was another defeat on the road for Brighton, as
Norwich City recorded their first win in 4 games
to send the visitors even deeper into relegation
trouble. An even match saw Norwich take the
lead, and the Seagulls day was not helped by the
referee sending Adam Hinshlewood off for two
bookable offences, on the defenders first
appearance since damaging his knee ligaments in
March. Robert Earnshaw compounded the Albion's misery
with 2 late strikes to ensure Norwich gained all
the points in a 3-0 win

| Thought
of the Day: |
Unfortunately,
the thought of the day from this trip is
probably unprintable due to legal reasons
