Tuesday 11/08/09 Jesus wept. What a weekend. You know it has been a good Friday night when you wake up in a bed with a naked Robert Jones, and don't really recall getting there. The blame for this situation can be laid solely at the feet of the usual culprit - Westons Original. Too much consumption of this potent cider, coupled with the ridiculous decision to mix with cognac resulted in a strange evening occurring. Most of the evening is rather clear, and I certainly remember going to bed in a small bed with Neil Kane, before awakening in a double bed with Jonesy. Perhaps, dear listeners, I am becoming a prostitute, and this is a sign that the life of Burgess Hills Favourite Minor Celebrity is spiraling from one disaster to the next, without me really being aware of it. It has also been decided that I share an uncanny resemblance with Seth Rogen, following the viewing of the excellent movie Knocked Up. This, coupled with the fact that McCarthy and Kane had to have a corkscrew confiscated from them as they contemplated seeing how far McCarthy's foreskin could stretch with the said device leads to the conclusion that not enough house parties happen these days, and only leaves me to thank Katie Knight for hosting such an event. Hopefully negotiations can go smoothly in order to place the images onto mac-i at some point Saturday then saw McCarthy take the ludicrous decision to begin consumption at midday with a bottle of champagne outside of Hove Station with Rumble, before far far too much drink was consumed over the course of the day, ending in some disgusting behaviour on the street followed by drinking with my second member of the Jones family in 24 hours, as me and brother Christian enjoyed several more beers Sunday was by far and away the highlight of my footballing career, as Team Croc, the team fancied to come second last in the North Stand Chat Summer Sixes Tournament, pulled off a bigger shock than Greece winning Euro 2004 as they claimed the trophy, thanks in part to an unbelievable final performance from McCarthy, summed up with three match winning saves in a 0-0 draw, before Burgess Hills Favourite Minor Celebrity went onto score his sudden death penalty shoot out spot kick, before saving the immediate next one to bring the trophy back to Croc HQ Put simply, one of the best weekends of the year. And rounded off nicely with the launching of WE ARE BRIGHTON, which Peter Chapman has put a ton load of work into and with the result being a superb one. With more improvements to come, it is already looking like one of our best projects yet!
