University work - its a right bastard. This month has seen McCarthy inundated with projects, essays and all manner of other pointless tasks that needed to be handed in. That is in part the reason behind my lack of updates. Another reason is the bone idleness on my part. And the other reason is that myself and Chapman are extremely close to launching our latest project. Well, closer than we have got on any of our recent endeavors, which isn't really saying much
Apart from that, it has been a standard issue February. February is, I find one of those months, that just passes by with no point to it. I mean, it only has 28 days for a start. It features stupid and pointless celebrations such as Valentines Day, it sees lent begin, when people end up getting depressed because they can't do certain things they used to enjoy doing just because they have decided to give them up. So, with that in mind, it is hardly surprising that absolutely bugger all has happened in this month
McCarthy is also set to return to Saturday football this weekend, as he will pull on the jersey of Apperley and Tewksbury Dynamos to answer a goalkeeping crisis. It has been a year since I last appeared on a Saturday, and you can only hope that the chronic unfitness that has dogged my Sunday league season this year will not appear
