SCOTTS SECRET DIARY

Bridget Jones did it, Samuel Peeps did it, Adrian Mole did it - now Scott McCarthy does it. A diary is a great way of sharing thoughts, feelings and actions from a persons life. And straight out of McCarthy Towers comes this diary. Experience the highs, lows, the laughs, the tears, everything that happens - right here!

JUNE 2008

Friday 27/06/08

Another month of no updates, so once again I apologise. This goes down to a few simple facts - the ordering of the North American Sports Network has seen McCarthy have all manner of programmes to watch - baseball, hockey, and punditry involving classic over-the-top Americans with superb and somewhat ridiculous terms. It also has been dictated to by the fact that I have been working on some other projects, as well as my employment at Esso seeing me working as harder as the proverbial slave

The McCarthy holiday season begins in earnest this weekend, as Burgess Hills Favourite Minor Celebrity will be joined by Tom Witham, Neil Kane, Mark Potter and Andy Rumble on a vacation to Prague. With the city being well known for its superb night life, I am personally most looking forward to visiting the zoo and castle. Then, on my return to England, I head off to France alongside Bert Lloyd, to spend a week alongside Dan Collin and his family. My low tolerance of the French will be put the test, but with Bert being the sea of calm alongside me I am confident no issues will arise, and this will also allow the opportunity to buy a replacement beret following the loss of my previous one

So, there you have it - the excuses are lined up for why there will be no updates again. Snorted like a pig finding a truffle

Firstly, I would like to apologise for my lack of updates. This has been down to a chronic failure of every single computing device at McCarthy Towers. Firstly, the portable telecommunications device placed on ones lap developed a fault that meant it wouldn't turn on, and then the mainframe system decided to effectively blow up. It has been a long two weeks disconnected from the information super highway, but I am pleased to announce we are back and ready for a summer of fun

The time has not been wasted though, as I have been able to secure several archive McCarthy TV files for upload in the future, as well as record some new material. Perhaps the biggest news of all though was McCarthy and Chapman making an appearance on Play Radio UK last Sunday - which can be seen HERE
