Eastbourne Borough v Crawley Town

It is fast becoming a McCarthy Industries tradition to recover from the exuberance of New Years Eve drinking by having a pint on New Years Day while watching some football. With the only game in Sussex this year being at Eastbourne, it meant quite a treck for McCarthy and Kane to view some soccerball. Thankfully, with Tom McCarthy a willing driver, it was off to the Sunshine Coast we went for the Blue Square Premier derby between Eastbourne Borough and Crawley Town

Quite why the decision was taken to have such a big owl is anyones guess The infamous "son", who hit his own father during a Crocs on Tour outing to Luton back in 2005, was present at the game

The game ticks away in quite poor fashion Crawley stroll to the 2-0 victory, leaving Eastbourne still looking for their first win since September in the league
