EDF Cup Final 2009

Following their stunning victory over the Ospreys in the EDF Cup Semi Final at the end of March, Gloucester faced Cardiff Blues in the final at Twickenham. Cardiff have already beaten the Cherry and Whites twice this season in the Heineken Cup group stages, so McCarthy, Lloyd and Jones trooped off to Twickenham realistically expecting to come home disappointed

McCarthy begins the day with a can of Bulmers at Haywards Heath station Lloyd appears as a mere silhouette

Jones looks forward to the day in prospect Lloyd struggles with the ticket machine at Clapham Junction as we attempt to navigate our way to Twickenham

Jones soon screams to the concourse area "oh station, no fucking bins" Jonesy purchases a bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich

We begin pre-game drinking in The Cabbage Patch Jones and Bert enjoy their pints
We are soon given free lollipops for giving £1 to a charity collection A large police presence ensured that things did not get proper naughty

Jones soon drops his lollipop, resulting in it being disposed off in a pint glass that appeared to have been stashed in a tree a long time ago McCarthy adds to the damage with these two

The pub is full to the brim with Gloucester fans These police horses make their way towards the station
McCarthy eats a burger that was incredibly pink, suggesting it was undercooked Joy turns to confussion, as this time McCarthy's lollipop goes flying
Lloyd remains the only man to complete his lollipop The stadium comes into view
