It had been a
long while since McCarthy and Witham had taken a cultural and
historical adventures to a great British landmark. That all changed
though with the trip to Hampton Court Palace, for which Robert Jones
and Bert Lloyd were also invited. A former home of King Henry VIII
and William III, it is settled neatly on the banks of the Thames.
Its world-famous maze was, however, the poorest we have ever taken
part in, but not even that could leave a dampener on the day

fine specimen was in traditional Tudor clothing, braving the cold
weather to give us lucky guests an insight into Henry VIII world

Witham was happy to see these eggs
Berts
cabbage was infact real
As
was the national vegetable of Jones country, the leek. Unfortunately, it
was not realised until McCarthy had put one up his nose, and Jones one
in his mouth. We can only hope these weren't used for cooking

the health connoisseur that he is, Jones didn't eat any of his
