Jamie Farhall is yet another player to have honed his skills at the Condor Way Green Accademy, and like most of the protégées to come from the green, he first burst onto the scene as a young forward at Marle Place Wanderers, in 1996-97. He soon made the number 9 shirt his own, and scored over 100 goals for the club that his father, Tony Farhall, made legendary in the 1980's. A firm fan favourite, Farhall stayed with the club through its darkest days, scoring in the last ever match against Southdown Athletic in May 2003. He joined Burgess Hill in the 'Wideman Revolution', but unlike his Hamsters team mate McCarthy, was never given the opportunity to start a match. He spent the 2003-2004 season at Cuckfield Cosmos, but his form dropped, as he only netted 5 goals all season. A subsequent spell at Haywards Heath on-loan followed, but after being used as a right-back, he returned to Cuckfield. Another loan spell at Old Varndeanians followed, before Farhall was offered the chance to team up with McCarthy again as the management team at the Hamsters. Farhall jumped at the chance to  attempt to re-discover his form, and he did so, ending his first season at the club as top scorer. This rich vein of form continued into 2004-05, when he finished second top scorer, although he gave up his role as manager midway through the season, before leaving the club at the end of the year

While many thought his departure was the end of an era as far as the Hamsters were concerned, Farhall returned to the club in 2007-2008 for one appearance. It remains to be seen if this was his final farewell, or whether he will feature in McCarthys plans in the future
