HAMSTERS DEFEAT MIEROSOFT - 01/04/08
The Hamsters secured their first home victory of the season tonight, as they defeated Mierosoft 5-4 in a thrilling encounter at the Cage. Playing their traditional passing game with patient build up, the Hamsters soared into a 2-0 lead thanks to Sam Franks, opening his account on his home debut, and Kevin Ticehurst. Mierosoft were soon back in it at 2-2, but a further two goals from Ticehurst, to wrap up his hat-trick, and a Peter Chapman header were  enough to give Mac Industries the three points. DIAMONDS CRUSHED BY RAMPANT YELLOWS - 27/12/07
A record victory margin just eluded the Hamsters, as they came away from the Hippo Arena with a 24-4 win - their first of the season - on a muddy day in Lindfield. James Calver set a Hamsters record, scoring just 12 seconds after the kick off. Despite the good start, the Diamonds went onto lead 2-1 before conceding a further 11 goals before half time. The winning record margin of 20 goals would have been broken, had assistant manager Doug Lane not decided to offer the home side an assist from a throw-in, and score an own goal after unexpectedly switching teams. The scorers were: Calver(9), Robert Jones(6), Jack Simspon(2), Lane(3), Lloyd(2), McCarthy(2). Full report, pictures and interviews now on-line

HAMSTERS IN NOBLE DEFEAT - 10/09/07
The Hamsters suffered back-to-back defeats for the first time in their history, but the 4-2 defeat at Hove Lawns was far from the massacre many predicted before the game. Playing against a side that plays week-in, week-out, the Hamsters trailed 2-1 at the break, courtesy of an Alex Ternouth header. The superior fitness of the home side soon told though, and a Jack Simpson penalty ensured it ended 4-2, although the yellow army will feel they might have deserved something from the game. TOUGH TEST TO COME AT LAWNS - 05/09/07

Alex Ternouth makes his return to the club a year after being released, while a heroes reception is expected for returning Jamie Farhall.
