Ticehurst began his career at his boyhood team, Seagulls
Club. Progressing into the first team at an early age,
the forward soon found the back of the net, and struck
up a productive partnership with Liam Austin. However,
after 5 years at the club, he fell out with the
management, and was soon transferred to Hassocks. He
managed to get on the score sheet in his 2 years at the
club, but never really settled in. The plucky forward
soon moved on to Portslade Dolphins, but again his
attitude let him down, and Ticehurst was released at the
end of 2002-2003, after only one season at the club.
Surprisingly, Carl Wideman took him to Burgess Hill in
2003-2004, and attempted to take the players undoubted
potential, and turn it into goods on the pitch. However,
he yet again didn't get on with the management, and was
released at the end of 2003-2004. Desperate to get back
into football, it was his old friend Scott McCarthy who
offered him the opportunity, as Ticehurst signed on for
Mac Industries in the final months of the 2004-2005
season. He impressed, showing flashes of the ability
that saw him shine back in the 90's, doing enough to
earn a contract extension for 2005-2006. After a
difficult start, Ticehurst finally established himself
as a first team regular, and weighed in with some key
performances and important goals, and this continued
into 2006-2007, with McCarthy exploiting an unknown
quality of Ticehursts game in versatility, deploying him
as a defender at times to great effect

who will always give 110%, Ticehurst has suffered in the
past from a poor attitude that has seen him fall out at
