The first piece in the quest for Sussex Treble began at Lords. With a very real prospect of the Sharks picking up the County Championship and the Pro40 League Title, they faced Lancashire in the C&G Final at the home of cricket, Lords. This prestigious game, the FA Cup Final of cricket, rounded off a tough route to the final for both sides, and presented Sussex with an opportunity for their first piece of one day silverware in years. Needless to say, the Barmy Army were there, with plenty of alcohol in tow to enjoy the day |
