Cricket - portrayed as a boring sport by some, by others, a fantastic game that can put your manhood on the line, especially if you're not wearing a box. At Mac Industries, we try to prove that cricket can be exciting - the Sussex Barmy Army will sing, drink and use the air horn to good effect. WORCESTERSHIRE ROYALS V SUSSEX SHARKS - 25/04/2010:  McCarthy and Wright don some religious themed fancy dress and head to New Road to see Sussex begin the defence of their 40 over title
GLOUCESTERSHIRE V SUSSEX - 23/04/10:  Sussex have made a good start to life back in Division Two of the Championship, and would be looking to continue on day three against Gloucestershire at Bristol

WORCESTERSHIRE ROYALS V SUSSEX SHARKS - 27/09/2009:  A Sussex victory or a defeat for Somerset would see the Sharks claim back-to-back Pro 40 titles in the last season of the competition

SUSSEX SHARKS V GLOUCESTERSHIRE GLADIATORS - 05/07/2009:  A huge day of cricket at Hove as Sussex took on Gloucestershire in the semi final of the Friends Provident Trophy for a place in the final at Lords
SUSSEX V AUSTRALIA - 25/06/2009:  After declaring on 349-7, the Aussies are in the field for day two of their game against Sussex on another scorching day at Hove
SUSSEX V AUSTRALIA - 24/06/2009:  The Aussies begin their 2009 Ashes tour with a four day game at Hove, as Sussex get the chance to put the tourists under early pressure on day one
HAMPSHIRE V SUSSEX - 01/05/2009:  The first Championship action of the season takes place at the Rose Bowl, with McCarthy, Witham and Wright eating and drinking only fruit and veg based products throughout the day

SUSSEX SHARKS V MIDDLESEX CRUSADERS - 11/09/2008: Wright, McCarthy and Potter attend the final Pro-40 game of the season at Hove, and take advantage of £20 of free rum to cheer the Sharks on in their must-win game
SUSSEX SHARKS V HAMPSHIRE HAWKS - 13/06/2008: McCarthy, Simpson, Potter and Wright make their way to Hove to see if Sussex could finally get their Twenty20 campaign up and running after an appalling start to the year
SOMERSET V SUSSEX - 14/05/2008: McCarthy and Wright head down to Taunton to take in day one of the Liverpool Victoria County Championship match between the reigning champions Sussex and newly promoted Somerset

 

 

2007 SEASON: TV MOMENTS:
BARMY ARMY V NORTHAMPTONSHIRE STEELBACKS: Despite McCarthy spending the majority of the cricket season in Canada, he and the Barmy Army members in attendance manage to make it onto sky as the Steelbacks are in town

C&G FINAL V LANCASHIRE LIGHTNING - 26/08/2006: The biggest game in the one day domestic calendar, as Sussex travel to Lords for the first time in 13 years to face Lancashire in the Cheltenham and Gloucester Trophy Final
SUSSEX SHARKS V ESSEX EAGLES - 14/08/2006: Another Pro40 League game live on Sky, this time with the reigning Champions Essex the visitors. A victory for Sussex would put them in a strong position, but first they would have to overcome old nemesis Ronnie Irani
SUSSEX SHARKS V WARWICKSHIRE BEARS - 25/07/2006: Sussex opened their home Pro40 League campaign with a visit from Warwickshire. Could they continue their fine one day form under the Hove lights
SUSSEX SHARKS V HAMPSHIRE HAWKS - 16/06/2006: Victory for Sussex in this C&G Trophy game would take them to their first Lords final in 13 years. Could the team overcome Shane Warne, and create one of the most magical nights the County Ground has seen
 
2006 SEASON: TV MOMENTS:
COVERAGE V HAMPSHIRE E HAWKS: Sky show a lot of the Barmy Army in this game, and it culminates in McCarthy and Wright appearing topless to celebrate the victory and subsequent trip to Lords!

SUSSEX SHARKS V SURREY LIONS - 31/08/2005: Sussex can take a massive step towards promotion with victory over the Surrey Lions, as Sky broadcast the last day-night match across the country
MIDDLESEX V SUSSEX - 01/08/2005:  It's a return to County Championship action, as McCarthy and Ape are joined by the Lloyd family for the Championship game with Middlesex at Lords
SUSSEX SHARKS V SOMERSET SABERS - 01/08/2005: Somerset wrapped up the Twenty20 title two days earlier, and came to Hove looking to become only the 2nd team to beat the Sharks in the Totesport league this season
SUSSEX SHARKS V MIDDLESEX CRUSADERS - 04/07/2005: Theres a large amount of cloud over Hove - would the game get played, as Sussex went looking for a vital win in their hopes of reaching the quarter finals
SUSSEX SHARKS V HAMPSHIRE HAWKS - 01/07/2005: Rain made this game into a Twelve12 affair. Without Pietersen, Tremlett and Warne, could Sussex get the vital win they needed to keep the Twenty20 dream alive
SUSSEX SHARKS V SURREY LIONS - 29/06/2005: Hove hosts its second Twenty20 game of the season, and its the old enemy. Could the Sharks upset the odds, and become only the second side to beat the Lions in this competition
