Cricket - portrayed as a boring sport by some, by others, a fantastic game that can put your manhood on the line, especially if you're not wearing a box. At Mac Industries, we try to prove that cricket can be exciting - the Sussex Barmy Army will sing, drink and use the air horn to good effect. Here is where you can see the action from all of the games we've been too!

 

2008 SEASON: IMAGES:
SUSSEX V HAMPSHIRE - 13/06/2008: McCarthy, Simpson, Potter and Wright make their way to Hove to see if Sussex could finally get their Twenty20 campaign up and running after an appalling start to the year
SOMERSET V SUSSEX - 14/05/2008: McCarthy and Wright head down to Taunton to take in day one of the Liverpool Victoria County Championship match between the reigning champions Sussex and newly promoted Somerset

 

2007 SEASON: TV MOMENTS:
BARMY ARMY V NORTHAMPTONSHIRE: Despite McCarthy spending the majority of the cricket season in Canada, he and the Barmy Army members in attendance manage to make it onto sky as the Steelbacks are in town

 

2006 SEASON: IMAGES:
C&G FINAL V LANCASHIRE - 26/08/2006: The biggest game in the one day domestic calendar, as Sussex travel to Lords for the first time in 13 years to face Lancashire in the Cheltenham and Gloucester Trophy Final
SUSSEX V ESSEX - 14/08/2006: Another Pro40 League game live on Sky, this time with the reigning Champions Essex the visitors. A victory for Sussex would put them in a strong position, but first they would have to overcome old nemesis Ronnie Irani
SUSSEX V WARWICKSHIRE - 25/07/2006: Sussex opened their home Pro40 League campaign with a visit from Warwickshire. Could they continue their fine one day form under the Hove lights
SUSSEX V HAMPSHIRE - 16/06/2006: Victory for Sussex in this C&G Trophy game would take them to their first Lords final in 13 years. Could the team overcome Shane Warne, and create one of the most magical nights the County Ground has seen

COVERAGE V HAMPSHIRE: Sky show a lot of the Barmy Army in this game, and it culminates in McCarthy and Wright appearing topless to celebrate the victory and subsequent trip to Lords!

SUSSEX SHARKS V SURREY LIONS - 29/06/2005: Hove hosts its second Twenty20 game of the season, and its the old enemy. Could the Sharks upset the odds, and become only the second side to beat the Lions in this competition
SUSSEX SHARKS V HAMPSHIRE HAWKS - 01/07/2005: Rain made this game into a Twelve12 affair. Without Pietersen, Tremlett and Warne, could Sussex get the vital win they needed to keep the Twenty20 dream alive
SUSSEX SHARKS V MIDDLESEX CRUSADERS - 04/07/2005: Theres a large amount of cloud over Hove - would the game get played, as Sussex went looking for a vital win in their hopes of reaching the quarter finals
SUSSEX SHARKS V SOMERSET SABERS - 01/08/2005: Somerset wrapped up the Twenty20 title two days earlier, and came to Hove looking to become only the 2nd team to beat the Sharks in the Totesport league this season
SUSSEX SHARKS V SURREY LIONS - 31/08/2005: Sussex can take a massive step towards promotion with victory over the Surrey Lions, as Sky broadcast the last day-night match across the country

SUSSEX SHARKS V NOTTINGHAMSHIRE OUTLAWS - 21/07/2004: Another day-night match at Hove, this time Sussex take on 2nd place Notts - could they defy the table and win their 3rd game on the trot?

SUSSEX SHARKS V MIDDLESEX CRUSADERS - 02/09/2004: The last game of the season - a piss up in fancy dress. Sussex take on the Champions Middlesex under the lights and live on Sky
