| Witham
took to the task like an experienced maze navigator, using McCarthy's
Victorian car horn incase of separation inside the maze |
Bert
had also thought ahead, bringing an umbrella incase of poor weather |
 |
 |
| McCarthy
had bought a thermos flask of tea, which turned out to be quite foolish
as it is a diuretic and thus would increase his need to pass urine |
This
was a warm up maze, and proved worryingly tricky |
 |

|
| Jones
had soon found his way to the first stamp |
Berts
umbrella was looking like a shrewd idea, as it is put to immediate use |
 |
 |
| This
Mexican chap was delightful |
The
maize maze as seen from a platform |
 |
 |
| This
portaloo was an extremely handy addition to the maze, and Jones was soon
taking advantage |
Another
view of the massive maze |
 |
 |
| Jones
stands like a proud patriot |
The
rain had eased off, allowing Bert to take his brolly down |
 |
 |
| We
were slowly making our way around the maize maze |
Bert
and Jones, complete with his brown flag, like the look of this Indian |
 |
 |
| Witham
was taking advantage of the refreshment area by checking out these
children |
Jones
was soon making a mess out of a chocolate ice cream |
 |

 |
| Another
side of the maize maze |
Somebody
had obviously become disgusted with the challenge, and thrown down their
stamp collection sheet, denoting just how hard the maze was |
 |
 |
| Witham
and Jones pause for a moment to get their bearings, and wonder how
exactly they would get to this stamp station. McCarthys suggestion of
jumping off the bridge was deemed unacceptable |
Bert
and Witham pose with this happy camper |
 |
 |
| These
flowers inside the maze were a nice touch |
It
was surprising that it took McCarthy this long before realising he was
able to stamp his own head |
 |
 |
| We
have found the exit to the maze, with one problem - we don't have all
the stamps. Do we leave with a collection sheet uncompleted, or go back
and find stamp 7? |
We
decide to go back and find it |
 |
 |
| Jones
decides to set off by himself to get to number 7 |
He
is soon heading back though, as it is not in this unchartered area |
 |
 |
| Stamp
station number 7 is soon find, with Witham looking delighted |
McCarthy
raises his thermos flag of tea in joy |
 |
 |
| The
final station was Jumpin Julie, possibly named after Julie Jones |
Bert
is delighted that this monumental task is finished |
 |

| U-S-A |
The
day couldn't finish in a better fashion, with Jones looking delighted at
this goat having climbed a platform |
