Wolverhampton Wanderers v Preston North End

The problem with lower league football in January is that it often falls victim to the weather. This was the case on January 10th, as McCarthy and Alex Retter made their way to Walsall to witness what would have been an epic day of League One football between Walsall and Brighton. As it happened, the game was frozen off, and having already made Birmingham, the decision was taken to attend an alternative game. So, for cheaper than it would have been to watch the original game, they found themselves heading to Molineux to witness Coca Cola Championship leaders Wolves take on Preston
